Oh, Calcutta, ill-fated Calcutta!

Following is a "gift" from the Communists warlords of Calcutta:

Oh, Calcutta, ill-fated Calcutta! Rarely in history has a city been so vilified by its famous visitors. The French anthropologist Claude Lévi-Strauss once called it "the home of everything in the world worth hating." American film director Woody Allen noted, "They have 100 unlisted diseases." V.S. Naipaul, a winner of the Nobel Prize in literature, said, "I know not of any other city whose plight is more hopeless." Naipaul's German literary colleague Günter Grass went even further, coming up with the worst insult of all after living in the city for several months: "It's a pile of crap dumped by God." And even former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi called it a "dying city" and wished, back in the 1980s, that it would simply disappear from the face of the Earth.

CPM to outsmart IUML in Malappuram
CPM's experiment in Nadapuaram, a predominantly Muslim area in Kozhikode, with communism through communalism is also worth mentioning here. An aberrant political strategy of the late CPM leader A Kanaran, instigating tenant thiyyas into a class war against errant Muslim landlords, turned out to be a full-scale communal campaign between the two OBC groups. The CPM has never criticised Kanaran, a man with explicit Islamophobia, nor did it disown his strategy. Still now, even in Malappuram, party has put up his cutouts.

Indian Communists Hold Conference In Great Britain

Key notes from the conference:
1, 2
The conference had a presidium consisting of Gurbux Sidhu, Joginder Kaur and Joginder Singh and was attended by 57 delegates from various AIC branches in England and Scotland...All branches will provide a feedback in order to strengthen the AIC and IWA.

Yechury made a direct appeal to the delegates to use their strategic position in Britain in order to strengthen the solidarity between communist and other Left and progressive groups and organisations in Britain.

He went on to state that outsourcing from Britain is creating problems for the working class in this country.

reaffirmed the AIC’s commitment to stand shoulder to shoulder with the British and International working class.

These attacks [Delhi bomb blasts] were sponsored by imperialism and forces opposed to the normalisation of relations between India and her neighbours.

MNCs are not only in pursuit of superprofits, they are also transferring the unacceptable, environment damaging technologies and methods of production to the developing countries. In the latter, production is taking place in environmentally unsafe conditions and heightening exploitation through low wages. The need of the day is to forge international working class solidarity in order to fight the divisions that imperialism seeks to forge today.

Neo-Nazi's and Neo-Communists unite - once again

In a startlingly new collaboration, the neo-Communists are supporting neo-Nazi's in a bid to take down their common enemy - Indus valley history. The former has cunningly categorized correction's to Indian history as 'saffronization' whereas the latter is inspired by racial superiority over other races reminiscent of Hitler's "racial purity".

Mr. Michael Witzel, now a Wales Professor of Sanskrit at Harvard University is leading his activism against so-called "Hindutva" attempt to distort Indian history. His CV reveals that he is among the "neo-Nazi's" claiming German racial superiority.

When objected and argued on his work on Indology, Mr. Michael resorts to personal attacks as recorded by many of his co-researchers.
perhaps more than half [his] material consists of totally inappropriate and irrelevant remarks – personal attacks, sarcasms, abuses, taunts, bluffs, setting up straw-men, diversionary tactics, false accusations, calumny by association and what not. Such cheap behavior has become quite typical of Witzel in recent years, and many of his recent publications are full of such remarks - by Vishal Agarwal

his “review” and “notes” scrupulously avoid replying to any of the points raised or made by me (or points replied to by me) and concentrate on abuses and jeers peppered with inanities about what “Talageri does not know” or “Talageri has not read”, followed by the schoolboy repetition of discredited allegations, blatant lies, and misleading diversions - by Shrikant G Talageri

Such ad hominem arguments and personal attacks are rendered even in his letter to California Board of Education who has given an initial approval to the changes.

Contrary to his claims, the Hindu Eduction Foundation (HEF) has an extensive broad based support from the Hindu community in California.

All concerned Hindu's are requested to send supporting comments and letters to: (please be polite)

Laloo The Master, Osama The Clown

Bihar model for Bengal - The Telegraph

Bengal, which votes in a few months, could see the Election Commission repeating its “Bihar model” for free and fair polls

Allegations of malpractice are widespread in Bengal, which has also contributed the phrase “scientific rigging” — rigging without use of violence, by wearing out voters — to the election lexicon.

Laloo The Master, Osama The Clown
Paswan paraded him before. Now he's with Laloo. This Osama is a sad joke in the Bihar polls. And they say Laloo is the most secular beacon in Indian politics!!!!

"Asha" takes up political arms

Asha for Education, is a US based non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO) with substantial presense in American Universities. They are hence prohibited by law from taking active role in politics.

Recent developments have shown that the organization takes heavy political shots under the influence of communism. The Communist Party of Indian (CPI) has various factions with some legitimate political parties and others banned under international laws for terrorism.

Recently, a political article from Asha Parivar showed up in SACW (8.2) (South Asian Citizens Web) - a foriegn based communist watch dog. This is the justification given for Pakistan sponsored terrorism in Kashmir:
some extremist organizations use violence to promote their political ideology. Among these are those organizations, members of which were so subjugated socially, economically and politically that they had no option but to pick up arms. Even though in reaction other organizations emerged which too resorted to violent ways, the problems of groups belonging to this category could be politically resolved through dialogue. These organizations (viz. Lashkar-e-Toiba) do not victimize common people but only target the suppressor (viz. The Indian Army).

Whereas, the BJP is viewed from a selective glass:
On the other hand there are organizations which use hatred and violence against other communities to establish their supremacy. They have abused people's communal sentiments to instigate them to indulge in violence.

Whether Asha Parivar is right or wrong is not the question. A more worrisome concern is their political campaigning and "a strong us vs. them" ideology. Consequently, Asha Parivar has a five year plan:
We (Asha Parivar) will have to watch out for them.
